Derek Twiss

As an Entrepreneur and Developer, Derek has substantial experience in acquiring, negotiating and closing out Projects over the past ten years. Derek is a very ambitious person with a passion for work and achieving the highest possible results with all projects he has dealt with. He has a proven track record for completing all projects within budget, on time and to the highest of standards. He has been involved in large Residential / Commercial development Projects, which include Xenia Hotel London, Greencourt Hotel London, 94 no Apartments at PBH in Earls Court London, Wilton shopping centre, Mahon Point shopping Centre and several high-end housing developments in Ireland. He has also worked on projects in Gibraltar. Including the fit out of over 60 projects valued over £40million.

Derek has set up and managed high yield investment portfolios in Dublin and London achieving gross return yields of 10-18% while also achieving ongoing capital appreciation.
We are actively on the lookout for new building contracts and investment developments including JV’s throughout Ireland and London.

Having worked through the downturn by sourcing and completing high end projects in Dublin, London and Gibraltar DTW Construction Ltd is once again focusing more of its efforts in Ireland. DTW is seeking out new developments and contracts to grow our business.

Tom Walsh

Has been involved in the construction Industry for 30 years. His primary focus for many years was the construction and renovation of Hotels and Bars and Restaurants in Ireland and Internationally. Also a director of Birdhill Motorways ltd, who are involved in the development and construction of Motorway Service areas in Ireland in conjunction with Applegreen PLC. BA.

Tom specialises in Overall Project design/ Interior Design and specialist finishes, as well as project co-ordination and planning. Tom holds an Hons Degree in  Town and Regional Planning.

Eoin Ferris -Safety Officer

Eoin Ferris has worked in the safety industry for over 12 years both as direct employee and as safety consultant.

Eoin’ experience spans both civil and commercial developments with major contracts including the Fermoy Bypass in Civils and Kenmare Park hotel redevelopment in commercial.

He has worked for both Main Contractor (PSCS) and individual contractors gaining SafeTCert accreditation with 3 different companies. His efficient safety management systems have been the cornerstone of implementing procedures within companies.

His educational background is in manufacturing engineering with a postgrad in safety in ergonomics from University of Limerick which has given him a solid foundation to ensure any obstacle can be overcome.
